For my birthday, I ordered a little mama jewelry from one of my very good friend Jessie's etsy shop, westbyron. Jessie and I were roommates our first year in college at University of Chicago and back then, I did not realize that I was living with such a creative, crafty goddess. Perhaps the ornaments she carefully bent from the dining hall forks, knives, and spoons for her lamp in our room should have tipped me off, but they were nothing compared to the fabulous stuff she creates with her crafty little hands these days. I ordered my sister a similar necklace to mine with her baby's name and birthstone...and I'll add to it when she has another baby. And because Jessie's super, she gave me a bracelet with the kids' names, which you can see here. Anyway, check out her shop--there's great stuff there and you know you want one. Or two.
